Sean Langton has extensive work experience, starting as a Software Developer at Applied Logic Systems in 1993. Sean then worked as a Technical Team Lead at Cambridge Technology Partners, where they were involved in software consulting and development projects for various clients. After that, they were a Senior Analyst Programmer at ING Barings before establishing their own company, Langton Solutions, where they worked as a Contract Software Engineer.
Langton then joined Bankwest, initially serving as the Head of Solution Architecture, responsible for meeting the architectural demands of the company and its partners. Sean was then promoted to General Manager (Software Engineering), leading a team of software engineers, DevOps specialists, and software testers. In this role, they modernized tooling and practices, implemented Agile methodologies, and developed a Graduate Engineering program.
Following their time at Bankwest, Langton joined Vix Technology as a CTO and Executive General Manager (Engineering and Delivery), responsible for the development of their Automated Fare Collection Product Platform and delivery of customer projects. Sean oversaw technology strategies, ensured alignment of technological resources with business needs, and engaged with external customers and vendors to increase business.
Currently, Langton is the Chief Information Officer at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, where they are responsible for overseeing the company's technological interests and implementing technology strategies.

Sean Langton obtained a Master's Degree in English Literature and Computer Science from the University of Wales, Cardiff from 1989 to 1993. Sean also has additional certifications, including the Dennison Miller Executive Development Programme from Harvard Business School in 2017, the Rising Leaders Program from Leadership WA in 2013, and the Executive Manager Talent Development Programme from the Commonwealth Bank in 2011.
