Ugur UGUREL

Ugur Ugurel is an Executive Manager of Compliance Assurance at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, bringing over 25 years of expertise in banking regulations and compliance risk assurance. They served as the Chief Auditor and Head of Audit Group at the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency in Turkiye for more than a decade, before advancing to senior management positions in compliance at various prestigious banks in the MENAT region. Previous roles include Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at QNB Finansbank and Head of Compliance and Internal Control at Dogan Investment Bank, where they played a pivotal role in establishing compliance frameworks from the ground up. Ugur holds an MBA in Finance from Penn State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Middle East Technical University.
