Karen B.

Executive Director CMC and Program Management at ADCendo

Karen B. has a long and varied work experience, beginning with a medical laboratory assistant position at Chase Farm Hospital in 1990. In 1991, they held an industrial placement student role at the Furzebrook Institute of Terrestrial Ecology. From 1994 to 1998, they worked as a biochemist at Sigma Aldrich and then as an analytical scientist at Axis Genetics. In 1999, they began their role as a Scientist II (Bio Purification) at MedImmune, where they developed purification processes for thirteen programs supplying clinical trials. In 2013, Karen B. moved to PPD, where they were a Project Manager, Global Clinical Supplies, responsible for providing overall global coordination of the entire clinical supplies lifecycle for projects. In 2014, they joined Crescendo Biologics Limited as a Project Portfolio Manager and Project Manager, Preclinical Development. Karen was responsible for defining the project plans, costs, timelines and capabilities required to progress the project. In 2018, Karen B. moved to LEO Pharma as a Principal Scientist - CMC Lead. Karen is currently employed at Adcendo as an Executive Director CMC and Program Management.

Karen B. attended Southgate Technical College from 1986 to 1989. Subsequently, they attended Aston University from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a BSc (Hons) in Applied and Human Biology.
