Tim Hunt

Tim Hunt has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Currently, they are the CEO and Applied ML Architect/Engineer at Addavox, a new venture. Tim is also an Applied AI Architect/Engineer at OpenTeams and Quansight.

Prior to this, Tim was the CTO at inWhatLanguage from September 2014 to December 2020, where they managed the development team and oversaw sales and operations. Tim also served as the President of Quick Request from November 2011 to September 2015, where they designed and developed software systems and expanded the company to multiple countries.

Additionally, Tim held the position of President at Go Natural CNG from March 2009 to February 2011, where they successfully secured contracts with major companies like GM and Freightliner. Tim also served as the General Manager at Certiport North America from April 2008 to March 2009, leading the organization to achieve growth in a challenging economic environment.

Earlier in their career, Tim was the Founder and CEO of Lingotek from January 2001 to April 2008, where they raised significant venture capital and developed innovative language search engine and translation software. Tim also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Utah from August 2002 to December 2005 and as a Founder/Venture Capitalist at University Venture Fund from January 2001 to May 2002, where they provided strategic analysis and marketing strategies for funded companies.

Tim Hunt's education history starts in 1983 when they attended Brigham Young University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Asian Studies in 1987. From 1987 to 1989, they pursued a Master's degree in Computational Linguistics at the University of Utah.

In 1999, Tim Hunt attended Salt Lake Community College, where they studied Advanced Mathematics for one year. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Utah again and obtained an MBA degree in Business and Entrepreneurship from 2000 to 2002.

In recent years, Tim Hunt has also completed various certifications in the field of Artificial Intelligence. In 2019, they earned two Nanodegrees from Udacity: AI Programming with Python and AI Natural Language Processing. Additionally, Tim Hunt obtained a certification in Natural Language Processing Nanodegree from Udacity in October 2019. Most recently, in February 2022, they received a certification for Introduction to Machine Learning with TensorFlow Nanodegree from Udacity.
