Greg Weir

Greg Weir is an accomplished professional in the field of information security and risk management, currently serving as Manager of Information Security & Risk at Addepar since October 2022. Prior to this, Greg held the position of Senior Security Operations Analyst at Secureworks from June 2021 to October 2022 and served as a Senior Consultant in Incident Response. Greg began a role in information security at Morgan Stanley, first as a Security Analyst on the Cyber Incident Response Team from August 2018 to June 2021, and earlier as a Technology Analyst in the summer of 2017. Greg’s career began at KwikFit as a Referrals Advisor from June 2013 to June 2017. Academically, Greg earned a Master of Science in Cyber Security from the University of Strathclyde between 2019 and 2021, and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Digital Security, Forensics & Ethical Hacking from Glasgow Caledonian University from 2014 to 2018.
