Soma Tayamon

Soma Tayamon has a diverse work experience in the field of product management and technical roles. They are currently serving as the Director of Product Management at AddSecure since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at TIER Mobility as a Technical Product Manager from October 2021 to October 2022, where they were responsible for the development and maintenance of the roadmap for continuous feature improvements of the IoT platform and spearheaded the product cycle for new vehicle models across Europe and the U.S.

Before their role at TIER Mobility, Soma worked at Ericsson starting in 2014. They held various roles during their tenure, including Technical Lead from April 2021 to September 2021, R&D Collaboration Manager from May 2020 to April 2021, Senior System Engineer from January 2018 to April 2020, and Experienced Researcher from October 2014 to December 2017. In these roles, Soma led studies for designing technical solutions for 5G radio access networks, supervised master thesis students, and conducted research on the future of machine learning in 5G, analyzing possibilities for future devices and modeling and control of autonomous vehicles.

Soma Tayamon completed a Master's Degree in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University, a program that spanned from 2004 to 2009. Following this, Soma pursued further academic achievements by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Elektroteknik from Uppsala University, which was completed between 2009 and 2014.
