Ravi Joshi, PhD, is an enthusiastic robotics expert focused on developing systems that enhance human life through technology. Currently serving as Chief Applied Scientist in Medical Robotics at Addverb, they previously held roles at FingerVision and OMRON SINIC X, where they advanced soft robotic control and led initiatives in robotics engineering. Ravi obtained a PhD in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Kyushu Institute of Technology, where their research on a dual-arm Baxter robot to assist the elderly garnered significant media attention and prestigious awards.
