Christopher Phillips has extensive experience in technology and innovation within the media and entertainment sectors. At TANDBERG Television, Christopher served as a Senior Engineering Manager/Architect and led the development of the Switched Digital Video system. Christopher also held positions at Ericsson, including Head of Media Innovation and Technical Research, where significant contributions were made to patented technologies in media delivery and encoding. Subsequent roles at Adeia as Sr. Director and currently as VP of Advanced Research & Development focus on innovative solutions in digital entertainment and AI. Additional experience includes software development and engineering roles at Red Sky Interactive, AT&T Bell Laboratories, and AT&T Labs, as well as currently serving on the board of the Metaverse Standards Forum. Christopher holds two degrees in Computer Science from The University of Georgia.
