Danny Lohan is currently a Staff Engineer at Adeia, where they have been working since 2025. Previously, they held the position of Senior Scientist at the Toyota Research Institute of North America from 2019 to 2025. Danny has also contributed as a Guru at the University of Illinois MakerLab from 2013 to 2014 and was an Undergraduate Member in the Engineering System Design Lab, where they researched generative algorithms and reconfigurable mechatronics systems from 2012 to 2014. They completed a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering and a Master of Science in Systems and Entrepreneurial Engineering, culminating in a PhD in the same field at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
