David Alonso

David Alonso has over 18 years of experience in the IT industry. David began their career in 2001 as a Field Engineer for IntelliNet Technologies. In 2002, they were a Computer Engineer GS12 at NAVAIR, where they worked on research and development for advanced mission computer and display systems for the F-18 mission computers. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Software Engineer at Micro Analysis & Design, where they created a user interface using C# and Micro Saint Sharp. In 2007, they became a Co-Owner at Euro Technik Autosport, where they were in charge of business operations, staff management, web development, database administration, shop foreman, automotive software tuning and calibration, project management, scheduling, hiring, customer service, and sales/wholesale experience. From 2010 to 2015, they worked at The MIL Corporation as a Solaris/Linux Systems Administrator, Sabre Systems Inc. as a Unix System Administrator, and Rollout Systems, LLC as a Sr. Network Administrator. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Network Operations Team Lead at Booz Allen Hamilton, and in 2017 they founded Adela Technologies, which is focused on helping organizations migrate to the cloud, manage their environments, and secure cloud infrastructure/applications.

David Alonso's education history includes completing a High School degree from Cypress Creek High in 1997, a BS in Computer Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2002, and an MBA in Finance & Cyber Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2011. David also attended Liberty High from 1994 to 1995. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Cloud Security Alliance CCSK v4 from the Cloud Security Alliance in 2021, Stanford University - Machine Learning from Coursera in 2020, CompTIA Linux+ and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in 2010, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in 2021 and 2019 respectively, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect from Google in 2019, CompTIA Security+ CE from CompTIA in 2015, AWS Certified Developer Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2017, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) from Cisco in 2017.
