South Australia has already proven what's possible. A 57% drop in emissions since 2005. Renewable energy now powering 74% of our grid. The first Australian state to end coal. But the next phase of this transition can't be carried by government targets alone — it needs every sector, every community, and every voice at the table.

That's why we created ACAW.

South Australia's inaugural climate action week is a decentralised, community-led festival of events stretching from Port Augusta to Kangaroo Island, from the Flinders Ranges to McLaren Vale. It's not a conference. It's a week where renewable energy workers, First Nations knowledge holders, Pacific Island communities, coastal farmers, students, researchers, and business leaders all share the stage — because that's what systems change actually looks like.
ACAW is built on the open-access festival model South Australia does so well. Think Adelaide Fringe, but for the most critical transition of our time.
