Kara Baka

Kara Baka has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Starting in 2014, they worked as a National Youth Leadership Conference Student at Envision Experience. From 2014 to 2015, they served as the Social Media Marketing Coordinator for Wilson Area High School Boys' Soccer, where they utilized social media platforms to promote content and analyze player performance. In 2019, they worked as an Event Coordinator at the Machinery Dealers National Association, planning and executing professional events and driving engagement among organization members. From 2013 to 2019, Kara was a Primary Teacher at United Presbyterian Church, where they identified students' learning needs and delivered instruction tailored to their interests and academic levels. In 2019, they joined Kohl's as a Retail Associate, providing customer service and implementing new storewide services. Kara later became a Customer Service Representative, achieving high customer satisfaction ratings and training team members on customer support procedures. From 2021 to 2022, Kara worked as a Substitute Teacher at Wilson Area School District, fulfilling teaching requirements for various subjects. Currently, they are employed at Adelphi Research as a Project Director, responsible for developing research materials, maintaining data quality, and ensuring project milestones are met. Prior to this, they were a Project Associate at Adelphi Research, assisting with project management and data quality tasks. Overall, Kara's work experience showcases their versatility, strong communication skills, and ability to thrive in diverse roles and environments.

Kara Baka completed their Bachelor of Arts in Communication at DeSales University from 2016 to 2019. Following that, they attended Lasell University and obtained a Master of Science in Health Communication from 2020 to 2021. In addition to their degrees, Kara also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn in May 2021. These certifications include Interpersonal Communication, The Data Science of Healthcare, Medicine, and Public Health with Barton Poulson, and Using Public Health Dashboards.
