Cynthia Brady currently serves as an Adelphi Associate since December 2021 and holds the position of Global Fellow for Peacebuilding and Conflict with the Environmental Change and Security Program at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars since October 2020. Previously, Cynthia Brady held multiple roles at the US Agency for International Development from November 2005 to May 2019, including Peacebuilding & Resilience Advisor and Senior Peacebuilding and Conflict Advisor. Additionally, Cynthia worked as a Foreign Affairs Officer at the U.S. Department of State from September 2002 to October 2005, and as a Senior Program Assistant at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe from 1998 to 2000. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy with a focus on Environmental Security from The Fletcher School at Tufts University (2000-2002) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Denison University (1993-1997).
