Janani Vivekananda

Janani Vivekananda is the Head of Programme for Climate Diplomacy and Security at adelphi, focusing on climate change, peace, and security for over 18 years. They have contributed writings to esteemed journals and media outlets, including Nature and the Economist. Previously, Janani led the Environment, Climate Change, and Security Programme at International Alert. They have worked as a researcher in various countries across Africa and South Asia and are currently pursuing an MSc in Violence, Conflict, and Development at SOAS University of London, while also studying Politics, Philosophy, and Economics at the University of Oxford. Janani is based in Berlin, Germany.
