Lena Giesbert is an internationally experienced economist, consultant, and manager focused on driving sustainable growth in developing economies, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. With a background as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at GIGA German Institute of Global and Area Studies and a consultant for GFA Consulting Group, Lena specializes in private sector development and socioeconomic research. Currently, Lena serves as a Senior Manager at adelphi and is a partner at Organic Katunda Ltd., an EU organic certified farm. Lena earned a Master's degree in African Studies from Leipzig University and a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Humboldt University of Berlin.
