Mary Potts

Mary Potts is an experienced professional in climate diplomacy and environmental policy, holding a Master of Science degree in Environmental Planning from Technische Universität Berlin. At adelphi, from December 2020 to August 2023, Mary served as a Project Assistant, providing editorial support for climate-related publications and contributing to significant reports such as the IPCC Working Group II report. Prior roles include Analyst and Consultant in Climate Diplomacy at the University of New Hampshire, where Mary also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant for an Environmental Policy course. Additional experience includes positions as a Peer Tutor in Marine and Environmental Science at Northeastern University, Communications Fellow at Climate XChange, and Communications Intern at the MIT Energy Initiative. A notable project involved serving as a Sustainability Fellow for the Town of Durham, NH, where Mary conducted a carbon and nitrogen footprint analysis of municipal operations.
