Nathaniel Mason

Nathaniel Mason is an experienced professional in policy advice, research, and strategy focusing on water, climate change, and natural resources. As the Owner and Director of Manatee Insight Ltd since October 2018, Nathaniel provides expert guidance on these critical issues. In addition, Nathaniel serves as a Senior Policy Expert for the Water Facility supporting the European Commission's DG INTPA and holds an Honorary Senior Research Fellow position at Imperial College London. Nathaniel's extensive background includes roles at the Overseas Development Institute, where contributions were made as a Research Associate and Senior Research Fellow, leading teams on multi-country assignments in Africa and Asia. Previous experience includes consultancy roles with The World Bank, WaterAid, and other organizations, focusing on water governance and policy formulation. Nathaniel holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a BA (Hons) in Classics from the University of Oxford.
