Program Officer - Extended Producer Responsability (epr) at ADEME

Colin Lang has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors and roles. Colin started their career as an Intern Engineer at SARP INDUSTRIES (Véolia propreté) in 2011 and later worked as an Intern Engineer at California State University, Chico in 2012.

From 2012 to 2018, Colin worked at Veolia Environmental Services UK as a Project Manager, gaining experience in environmental services.

In 2017, Colin transitioned to becoming an International Consultant, specializing in waste management and soil pollution. Colin worked on projects for FAO and privates, including lending agreements.

In 2020, Colin joined the Federation of Canadian Municipalities as a Project Officer, where they worked until November 2020. Colin then moved on to their current role as a Program Officer at ADEME, the French Environmental Agency, focusing on the Extended Producer Responsability (EPR) scheme for chemical products.

In 2017, they obtained an APM Project Management Qualification from APM - Association Progrès du Management. Colin also holds certifications in First Aid at Work from HSE Trainer (obtained in 2016), International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code from Chemfreight (obtained in 2013), and Formation Bilan carbone/ Carbon foot print from REFEDD (Ademe) (obtained in 2010).
