Mark E.

Mark E. has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Mark started their career at Battelle Memorial Institute as a Network/Systems Analyst I and later became a Network/Systems Analyst II. Mark then moved on to become a Team Lead and eventually a Technology Group Associate Manager at Battelle. After that, Mark worked as a Manager in different roles including Infrastructure Application Support, Test & Evaluation and Security Engineering at Battelle. In 2016, they joined Mount Vernon Nazarene University as an Adjunct Instructor of Computer Science. Mark then served as an IS Manager, HIPAA Privacy & Security at Licking Memorial Health Systems from 2013 to 2019. Currently, they are employed as the Chief Information Security Officer at Adena Health System since September 2019.

Mark E. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Business Administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in the years 1995 to 1999. Later, in 2002 to 2003, they pursued a Master of Business Administration in Executive Management from Ashland University. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in December 2015, the CISSP certification from (ISC)² in June 2015, the ITIL v3 Foundation certification from APMG-International in 2013, and the PMP certification from PMI in August 2011.
