Idris Talib

Idris Talib is a Technical Manager for the APAC region at Aderco since January 2019, specializing in the development and implementation of advanced technologies aimed at reducing carbon emissions and enhancing fuel efficiency while navigating complex maritime and environmental regulations. With a strong background in compliance with critical regulatory frameworks such as CII, EU ETS, and FuelEU Maritime, Idris has demonstrated expertise in carbon markets and emissions trading systems. Prior experience includes serving as a Technical Surveyor and Technical Assistant at ASP Ship Management between April 2014 and December 2018, where contract negotiations and adherence to HSSE policies were key responsibilities. Educational pursuits include a Master’s degree in Management with a Minor in Sustainability and a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and Management from the Singapore University of Social Sciences, along with a Bachelor of Business Analytics and a Diploma in Marine Engineering.
