Julia Hempel

Julia Hempel serves as Group CIO at Wallbox Chargers since February 2025 and concurrently at Adevinta since October 2019. Previously, Julia held the position of Global Vice President - IT Business Engagement Management at ABB from February 2017 to September 2019, managing a $70M project portfolio and advising on IT needs across a global workforce. Julia's extensive experience at ABB also includes roles as IS Country Manager Headquarters, Global IS Sourcing Strategy Manager, Global Contract and Vendor Manager for IT Services, and IT Consultant, contributing to significant IT transformation and vendor negotiations. Julia's early career involved administrative and consulting roles at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich and Astina AG. Academically, Julia holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Zurich and is certified in COBIT and Project Management Professional (PMP®).
