Sandra Real

Sandra Real has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Sandra started their career in 2000 as an Administrative at Consorci Sanitari Integral (CSI). Sandra then worked as a Hardware tech junior at Sermicro and as a Helpdesk at CITEK. In 2003, they joined TIPSA as a DBA Oracle, Systems administrator, and Group Coordination. Sandra then worked at NexTReT as a DBA Oracle, where they collaborated on database design projects and implemented performance analysis. From 2008 to 2011, Sandra worked at HP Enterprise Services as a DBA Oracle and Tower Lead, providing services for Banc Sabadell. Sandra managed a database team, implemented technical procedures, and led internal projects. In 2011, they joined Strands as a Database Engineer, Data Analyst, and Team Lead. Sandra was involved in team leading, data architecture, data modeling, PL/SQL development, and data analysis. Sandra worked on integrating online personal finance tools for top banks worldwide. Sandra's most recent role was at Adevinta, where they started in 2018 as a Data Modeler in the Experimentation team and later became a Product Manager for Analytics. Sandra designed curated datasets, led the global tracking schema, and provided support for data quality and management.

Sandra Real completed their Master of Data Science degree at KSchool from 2017 to 2018. Sandra also holds a degree in Ingenieria Tecnica Informática de gestión from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, which they obtained in 2006. In addition, they completed a Técnico Superior en Administración de Sistemas Informáticos degree from IES Provençana from 2001 to 2003 and a Técnico Superior en Documentación Sanitaria degree from F.P Ramon i Cajal in 2000. Sandra has obtained various certifications, including Up and Running with NoSQL Databases from LinkedIn in 2017, Introduction to Big Data from Coursera Course Certificates in 2016, and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera Course Certificates in 2015. Sandra is also an Oracle Certified Associate 10gR2 (OCA) and an Oracle Certified Professional 10gR2 (OCP), certifications obtained from Oracle University.
