Stu Carr has been working in the advertising and media industry since 2003. Stu began their career as a Junior Media Buyer at Universal McCann. Stu then moved to Starcom MediaVest Group in 2005 as a Media Buyer. In 2006, they joined MediaCom as a Media Planner. After that, they worked at bellamyhayden as a Communications Strategist from 2007 to 2010. Stu then joined Naked Communications as a Communications Strategist. In 2012, they returned to Starcom MediaVest Group (Australia) as a Director of Data & Analytics and a Data & Analytics Strategist. In 2015, they became the National Director of Data & Analytics at Starcom MediaVest Group (Australia). In 2016, they were appointed Head of Analytics & Insight at Publicis Media. In 2018, they became the National Head of Measurement at Starcom Australia. Currently, they are the Director of Customer Insights at ADGILE.
Stu Carr completed a Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson in 2020, a short course in Microsoft Excel VBA (Level 4) at the Centre for Continuing Education, University of Sydney in 2012, an Advanced Strategic Planning course at AdSchool in 2011, a Bachelor of Business in Advertising and Promotions Management from the University of Technology Sydney from 1997 to 2006, and attended Marcellin College Randwick from 1994 to 1999. In 2021, Stu Carr obtained a certification in From Excel to SQL from LinkedIn.
