Hector Rodes

Hector Rodes has extensive work experience, starting in 2005 as a Jr. Software Engineer at the University of Alicante. Hector then worked as a Software Engineer at Caja Mediterráneo from 2006 to 2008. After that, they joined fixR as a Lead Software Engineer, where they collaborated with the CTO and developed a highly scalable search engine and marketplace for home renovations. Hector worked at fixR until 2011.

At ADESIS Netlife, Hector held the position of Director of Technology LATAM/Lead Architect from 2011 to 2016. Hector focused on digital transformation solutions for large companies, particularly in cloud, devops, backend services, frontend development, and NoSQL systems. Hector provided technical and economic proposals to clients, designed and implemented solutions, led end-to-end projects, and facilitated architectural improvements and platform migrations to public clouds.

From 2016 to 2019, Hector worked for BBVA as the Principal Architect for a Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution, where they led the technical definition, implementation, deployment, and global support of the private PaaS solution. Hector was responsible for architectural design, technical leadership, core implementation, mentoring, automation, and cloud adoption.

Currently, Hector is the Chief Technology Officer at Adhara, a position they have held since 2019.

Hector Rodes attended Universitat d'Alacant from 1999 to 2005. However, no information is available regarding the degree they pursued or the field of study they focused on during their time at the university.
