Blockchain R&D Engineer at Adhara

Ryno Beyers began their work experience in 2010 as an intern at CSIR DPSS Radar & EW. In 2011, they worked part-time as a Software Developer at EDGE Campus, where they developed C# applications and a website. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Junior Lecturer at Stellenbosch University, and from 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Lecturer at the same institution. In 2018, Beyers joined ConsenSys as a Blockchain Engineer, where they were involved in project Khokha for the South African Reserve Bank, implementing a decentralized settlement system using Ethereum smart contracts. Following this, they joined Adhara in 2018 as a Blockchain R&D Engineer.

Ryno Beyers pursued their education at Stellenbosch University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science. Ryno attended this program from 2008 to 2011. Later, Ryno continued their academic journey at the same university, completing a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2012 to 2015.
