When we began our journey in 2004, our focus was clear. We wanted to bring meaningful change to one underserved community residing in the urban informal settlements of Govind Puri, New Delhi. Today, over two decades later, that singular commitment has touched the lives of over 4,00,000 individuals across Delhi NCR. And yet, we believe this is only the beginning.
At Adharshila, we have always measured success not just in numbers, but in the transformation of the lives of families and communities. Our work in education, health, and skilling has been guided by a deep respect for the lived realities of internal migrants and a growing conviction in the power of community-led change.
Looking ahead, we see an urgent need and a profound opportunity to deepen our impact. We aim to reach 5,00,000 individuals by 2030. But beyond reach, our goal is resilience. Resilient women who can access livelihoods with dignity. Resilient youth who can navigate a digital world with confidence. And finally, resilient families who no longer fear a medical emergency.
With Adharshila's Renal Care initiative, we are laying the foundation for equitable and specialized healthcare, beginning with dialysis that is timely, affordable, and rooted in compassion. Through ongoing partnerships, we will continue to challenge systemic barriers and bridge the gap between affordability and accessibility for the underserved.
