The ADI Foundation is an Abu Dhabi–based organization dedicated to empowering governments and institutions in emerging markets through blockchain infrastructure to accelerate the growth of digital economies.

The ADI Foundation was founded by Sirius International Holding, the technology-focused subsidiary of one of the largest investment companies in the world, IHC. 
The Foundation is catalyzing large-scale social and economic inclusion through its mission to bring 1 billion people globally into the digital economy by 2030, building on a strong foundation of 500+ million people already within its project ecosystem.

The Foundation designed ADI Chain, the first institutional Layer 2 blockchain for stablecoins and real-world assets in the MENA region, and is building a growing portfolio of use cases, including hosting the UAE dirham-backed stablecoin, DDSC.

Headquartered in Abu Dhabi’s ADGM, the world’s first jurisdiction with a bespoke digital asset framework, the ADI Foundation contributes to the region’s growth as a global digital asset hub.
