Clément Affholder is a Manager of Materials Engineering at adidas, specializing in tribology, material characterization, and rubber compounding. With over three years of experience in the outdoor sports industry, Clément has managed more than ten material development projects focusing on footwear and hardware. They have previously worked at VAUDE, where they led the innovation team in developing sustainable materials, and held research positions at RWTH Aachen University and the Université de Sherbrooke, studying biopolymers and composite failures. Clément holds a Master's degree in Engineering in Material Sciences from Polytech'Lille and completed an Erasmus semester at RWTH Aachen University.
