Aric Hu

Aric Hu is an experienced professional in procurement and management within the automotive and materials industries. Currently serving as Regional Commodity Manager for APAC at Adient since October 2016, Aric plays a key role following the spin-off of the Automotive Seating business from Johnson Controls. Prior experience includes a similar position at Johnson Controls (China) Investment Co., Ltd., managing direct material strategic procurement across Asia Pacific. Aric's background also encompasses roles at BASF as a Commercial/Product Manager for the transportation sector and as a Senior Coordinator and Consultant at SGS-CSTC, where Aric provided technical support and improved inspection services. Aric holds a Master’s Degree in Management-Finance from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, an MBA from Tongji University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Information Engineering from Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology.
