Ellen Eichberg

Ellen Eichberg serves as a Syndikusrechtsanwältin and Senior Legal Counsel at Adient since July 2018 and is currently a Visiting Professor and Lecturer in Law at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa's William S. Richardson School of Law. Ellen's academic contributions include teaching "International Business Transactions" in Spring 2025 and Summer 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Legal Counsel at Balcke-Dürr, Contracts Counsel EMEA at SPX Corporation, and Legal Counsel at Bayer MaterialScience, focusing on contract negotiation, compliance, and corporate law across various jurisdictions. Ellen has also advised on M&A and corporate law at Oppenhoff & Partner and held positions at Johnson Controls, Linklaters, and the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii. Educational qualifications comprise two Juristisches Staatsexamen degrees from the University of Bonn and OLG Köln, and a Master of Laws from the University of Hawai'i.
