Gary Clippard

Gary Clippard serves as the Domestic Tax Director at Adient since October 2018. Previously, Gary held various leadership roles at General Motors from November 1997 to March 2018, including Director of State and Local Tax, where Gary led audit, planning, and controversy management; Director of Integrated Tradeflow Planning, focusing on tax and transactional cost reduction; and Director of Global Transfer Pricing Operations, where Gary established a team to improve transfer pricing execution. Earlier experience includes time at BDO, starting as an intern and progressing to Manager in the Tax department, managing client engagements and tax return preparation in various specialties. Gary holds a Master of Science in Taxation from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Oakland University.
