Jim Baker is an experienced IT management professional with a strong background in IT Service Management (ITSM) and network engineering. Currently serving as the ITSM Global Program Lead and Service Desk Manager at Adient since August 2016, Jim coordinates ITSM disciplines and processes for the Service Management Organization. Prior experience includes over 18 years at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where roles ranged from ITSM Manager for Shell Oil’s Global Operations Center to Incident and Problem Manager, effectively managing incidents and implementing ITIL best practices. Jim's foundation in computer science, complemented by an Associate of Science degree from Henry Ford College, and earlier experience in network engineering at General Motors and Ford Motor Company, underscores a diverse skill set in both IT and engineering.
