Jim Vicens is an experienced chemical engineer with a robust background in research and development. At Adionics, from February 2019 to April 2022, as an Ingénieur Procédés R&D, Jim developed a MATLAB model to simulate a liquid-liquid extraction process for brine salts, focusing on the physico-chemical properties of organic fluids and brines across various salt concentrations. Currently, as the Responsable R&D Procédés at Adionics since April 2022, Jim leads a multidisciplinary team to manage R&D activities related to process implementation and product conversion. From August 2016 to July 2018, Jim served as a university researcher at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, conducting research on inorganic synthesis of zeolite-type catalysts and teaching undergraduate courses. Additionally, Jim has hands-on experience as an operator from a brief position at Air Liquide in summer 2015. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an engineering degree from ENSIC.
