Aditri Foundation: From Gaon to Global

Founded on 15 July 2022 by Neeru Yadav — the Hockey Wali Sarpanch — Aditri Foundation is a rural-transformation movement rooted in Lambi Ahir, Rajasthan, and rising toward global impact. What began as a spark of local innovation has grown into a model of grassroots leadership, sustainable development, and community-led empowerment.

Mission
“To Change the Rural World from Gaon to Global.”
Aditri Foundation works to build self-reliant, empowered, and sustainable villages, where women, youth, and communities lead development with dignity, capability, and confidence.

Vision
To create a rural India where every village becomes a center of opportunity, innovation, and leadership. Aditri envisions communities that protect natural resources, nurture women, cultivate youth leadership, and uplift every citizen through empathy, purpose, and action.

The Aditri Story
The journey began with a simple yet revolutionary idea — the Bartan Bank. Instead of disposable plastics, villagers borrowed steel utensils for community functions. What started as a local solution became a statewide model, inspiring the Government of Rajasthan to implement it across 1,000+ panchayats in the 2025–26 budget.

From this single idea blossomed a movement.
Neeru Yadav formed a girls’ hockey team and academy, giving rural daughters access to sports, discipline, and national exposure. Their success earned her the title “Hockey Wali Sarpanch,” symbolizing courage and aspiration.

Aditri responded to Rajasthan’s harsh water crisis with Water for All, building tube wells and household connections so no woman walks miles for drinking water again — restoring dignity where it was long denied.

Environmental restoration came through My Tree, My Friend, where children and families plant trees as lifelong companions, healing the land scarred by mining and deforestation.

These initiatives carried Neeru’s work from village paths to global platforms — from Kaun Banega Crorepa
