Dan McQuade

Dan McQuade has a diverse and successful work experience. In 2018, they joined Adlumin as the Chief Technology Officer. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, they co-founded and served as the CTO of The Ballydesmond Company, where they played a crucial role in introducing the primary brand, Irish Fire Logs. Dan also managed various aspects of the company's operations, including website design, ecommerce, digital marketing, and technology infrastructure. During their tenure, they established a strong network of retailers and distributors and successfully partnered with Amazon.com for several top-selling products. Additionally, they executed successful digital marketing campaigns and achieved a successful exit in 2017. From 2010 to 2013, they held the position of Director of IT Infrastructure at Government Sales Specialists, where they oversaw IT strategies, managed the company's website and systems, and played a vital role in client onboarding.

Dan McQuade graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science degree in Information Security Engineering at the SANS Technology Institute, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In terms of certifications, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification in September 2020. Since then, they have obtained various GIAC certifications, including GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Advisory Board membership, GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Defensible Security Architecture (GDSA), and SANS Security Awareness Professional (SSAP), all between the years 2021 to 2022. Most recently, in 2023, they obtained the GIAC Certified Project Manager Certification (GCPM) and the GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA) certification.
