Min Wei, PhD

Min Wei, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of clinical services and bioinformatics. From 2014 onwards, Dr. Wei worked at Admera Health, where they served as the Head of Clinical Services. In this role, they developed and executed growth strategies for the Clinical Services department, leading a team of 12 individuals who processed over 30,000 clinical samples for genetic testing. Dr. Wei also provided scientific leadership for the clinical validation and approval of various molecular genomics testing assays. Additionally, they served as the Head of Bioinformatics at Admera Health, where they recruited and trained a high-performing bioinformatics team and played a key role in expanding the company's product portfolio through innovative panel designs and proprietary algorithms. They also led the integration of laboratory and information management systems to improve workflow efficiency. Prior to working at Admera Health, Dr. Wei was a Bioinformatics Scientist at GENEWIZ, where they implemented new molecular testing initiatives and provided bioinformatics support to various departments.

Min Wei, PhD holds a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Neuroscience from the University of Minnesota. Prior to that, they earned an M.S. degree in Computer Science, also from the University of Minnesota. Their undergraduate studies were completed at Nankai University, where they obtained a B.S. degree in Biochemistry.
