Vanessa Balshaw

Vanessa Balshaw is an accomplished financial professional currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Adminis since February 2025. Vanessa also plays a significant role as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Laura Fergusson Trust Wellington, contributing to the Finance & Audit Committee and the Risk Committee since February 2022. Prior to these positions, Vanessa held the position of Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand from May 2022 to January 2025. Vanessa's extensive experience spans various roles at Man Group from September 2013 to March 2022, including Managing Director and Group Financial Controller, as well as Director and Head of Financial Reporting. Earlier in Vanessa's career, experience was gained at PwC, where roles included Financial Audit Manager and Senior Auditor. Vanessa began the professional journey with an Audit Internship at PwC following the completion of a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours (1st class) from the University of Otago in 2007.
