John Henry

Technical Support Manager at Administrate

John Henry is the current Technical Support Manager at Administrate. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Natural Power from February 2013 to March 2019. There, they line-managed two software engineers and held lead developer responsibilities for multiple software products. John also took pride in forming strong relationships with product owners in order to ensure that their requirements were understood and delivered, and with colleagues in order to get the best out of them and to provide the necessary guidance.

Henry was most recently the lead developer on a web app that helped the company manage 5GW of renewable energy from their 24/7 operational control room. John had previously taken on the challenge of being lead developer on a client-facing KPI dashboard and drill down web app. This involved coordinating and guiding a team of up to 6 developers and acting as the key point of contact for the product owner for technological decisions and requirements gathering and refining.

Before joining Natural Power, Henry worked as an Analyst Programmer at Henry Schein Animal Health from July 2009 to February 2013.

John Henry achieved a Bachelor of Science in Computing from the University of the West of Scotland. Prior to this, they attended Dalbeattie High School.

John Henry reports to Chris Beswick, Chief Architect. They are on a team with Kojo Arthur - Technical Support Engineer, Jamaine Azubuike - Technical Support Engineer, and Jeremy Wiedemann - Technical Analyst.
