Abidul Islam

Abidul Islam has extensive experience in the inspection and corrosion management sector, currently serving as Manager of Inspection and Corrosion at ADNOC Refining since July 2005, where responsibilities include leading the Inspection Section. Prior to this role, Abidul held various positions at Takreer, including Sr. Inspection Engineer and Inspection Engineer, focusing on refinery inspection and asset integrity management. Abidul's career began at Numaligarh Refinery Limited as Assistant Manager for Inspection, overseeing refinery commissioning and operational inspection services. Early career experience includes a role as Support Engineer at Autodesk, specializing in facility drawings and 3D modeling. Education includes an M.Sc in Asset Integrity Management from Robert Gordon University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Gauhati University.
