Mark Grutters

Mark Grutters, Ph.D., is a highly experienced chemical engineer with a specialized focus in flow assurance and production chemistry. With a doctoral degree in Geochemistry from Universiteit Utrecht, Mark has held key positions at Shell from August 2015 to July 2017, where responsibilities included managing chemical supply for deepwater platforms, leading flow assurance studies, and overseeing R&D initiatives related to emulsions and heavy oil. After Shell, Mark transitioned to Baker Hughes, taking on roles as Technical Authority, Digital Strategy Manager, and Flow Assurance Manager, contributing to product development and digital strategies in the chemical sector. Currently, Mark serves as Specialist Production Chemistry at ADNOC Group, continuing to leverage expertise in production chemistry and flow assurance.
