David Kwon

David Kwon is Corporate Vice President; Chief Legal Officer for ADP.

David joined ADP in June 2011 as a litigation attorney and was promoted in 2012 to the head of Litigation, responsible for litigation, employment, government investigations and IP matters. In March 2019, David became the head of Global Compliance, responsible for managing ADP’s corporate compliance, government affairs and privacy functions. In July 2021, at the appointment of ADP’s Board of Directors, David became Corporate Vice President; Chief Legal Officer for ADP.

Before joining ADP, David was a litigation Partner at K&L Gates LLP. Prior to joining K&L, David served as an Assistant District Attorney for the New York County District Attorney’s Office. During this time, David was also designated as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York and received the U.S. Department of Justice Award for Public Service.

David is a past President of the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey (APALA-NJ) and is currently a Trustee on the Board of SEEDS, a New Jersey-based non-profit that changes the lives of motivated, high-achieving students from low-income families by transforming their educational opportunities.

David holds a J.D. from the Boston University School of Law and a B.A. from Brown University. David was admitted to the New Jersey and New York bar associations in 1996.
