Nela Richardson

Nela Richardson is a highly accomplished economist currently serving as Chief Economist and ESG Officer, as well as Head of ADP Research at ADP since November 2020. Nela also contributes to Bloomberg and Marketplace by APM, and previously held roles including Principal Investment Strategist at Edward Jones and Chief Economist at Redfin. Nela's extensive experience includes senior economist positions at Bloomberg LP and Freddie Mac, as well as a research economist role at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Additionally, Nela has academic experience as an adjunct professor of finance at Johns Hopkins University. Nela holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Maryland, an MA from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Philosophy, Mathematics, and Economics from Indiana University Bloomington.
