Derek Jesser

Derek Jesser has over 15 years of work experience in the software engineering field. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer for Adpearance. From 2018-2021, they were a Full Stack Developer for VTM Group, where they built and maintained websites for internal and external clients. From 2016-2018, they worked as a Technical Solutions Architect for GRAYBOX, where they were able to grow and broaden their skill-set. From 2014-2016, they were a Full Stack Developer for Gravitate Design, where they were the Lead Developer on multiple projects. From 2010-2014, they were a Developer for ITX Corp., where they worked with a team of FrontEnd and BackEnd developers to create and manage a custom CMS platform. From 2013-2014, they were a Freelance Web Developer for DK Web Design, LLC, where they created a fully customized PHP/MySQL based CMS system from scratch. From 2012-2013, they were a Freelance Web Developer for Red Fern Creative, where they worked on multiple projects involving custom and 3rd-party PHP CMS platforms and applications. From 2005-2010, they were a Senior Web Developer for Doug Williams and Associates/Alesco Marketing, where they started on the link building and SEO team and eventually worked their way into FrontEnd coding and later on PHP programming. From 2008-2010, they were a Freelance Web Developer for Muller Design Studio.

Derek Jesser attended Clark College from 2006 to 2008, where they earned an Associate of Applied Technology (AAT) degree in Web Design and Development.
