John Taylor

John A. Taylor is an experienced attorney, arbitrator, and mediator with a distinguished career in academia and legal practice. Currently serving as a Distinguished Professor Emeritus at WMU-Cooley Law School, Taylor teaches Contracts, Sales, and Negotiable Instruments, while also mentoring underrepresented students in law. They have held various esteemed positions, including General Counsel and Director of Labor Relations for the Detroit Newspaper Agency, where they managed significant labor relations activities for over 25 years. Taylor is also active as an arbitrator and mediator for both the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the American Arbitration Association.
