Melissa Thompson

Melissa (Lisa) Thompson is an attorney, arbitrator, and mediator with a strong academic foundation in Biochemistry and Epidemiology. Currently a partner at Robinson+Cole, they have extensive experience in life sciences, healthcare, and biotechnology law, alongside a notable history with various legal roles, including senior counsel at Norton Rose Fulbright and chief counsel at Fresenius Medical Care North America. Thompson serves on the American Arbitration Association (AAA) Commercial, Health Care, and Life Sciences panels and the American Health Law Association (AHLA) panel, where they chair the Dispute Resolution Service Council. They have also taught Business and Intellectual Property Law at Johns Hopkins University and have represented clients across diverse sectors, from manufacturers to health care providers.
