William Scogland

William Scogland is a world-class expert in employee benefits with a distinguished career spanning several decades. They served as the Chair of the ERISA Advisory Council at the U.S. Department of Labor from 2006 to 2008 and founded the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Department at Jenner & Block, where they worked from 1981 to 2013. Currently, Scogland is a full-time arbitrator and a Senior Fellow at the American College of Employee Benefit Counsel, as well as a lecturer at American University. They hold a J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School and have received numerous accolades for their contributions to the field, including the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award.
