Brian Ellis

Brian Ellis has over 30 years of work experience, starting with their role as a Drilling Facilities Engineer at Nabors Industries from 1989 to 1994. Brian then served as the QHSE & Maintenance Systems Manager from 1994 to 1997, followed by Maintenance & Quality Systems Manager from 1997 to 2000. From 2000 to 2004, Brian worked as the VP Asset Management & Technical Support at Nabors Industries.

In 2004, Brian joined Canrig Drilling Technology as the VP - Business & Technology Development, a position they held until 2018. During this time, they played a crucial role in business and technology development.

Since 2018, Brian has been the Principal of Ellis Technology Solutions, a company they founded. Presently, they are also the Chief Technology Officer at ADS Services LLC, where they manage pressure control solutions and drives performance optimization in drilling, completions, and production. With their extensive background in the industry, Brian is well-equipped to lead and innovate in their role.

Brian Ellis began their education journey in 1986 at Robert Gordon University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Engineering Technology. Brian'sstudies in this program specialized in Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics fields, which they completed in 1989.

In 2006, Brian enrolled at Caltech, where they participated in two certificate programs. Brian completed the Technology Development Management Certificate Program and the Technology Marketing Certificate Program, both spanning from 2006 to 2010.

Most recently, Brian attended Kellogg Executive Education from 2018 to 2022, earning an Executive Scholar Certificate in Business Development and Management.
