Tanmay Roy

Tanmay Roy serves as the Chief Combat System Engineer at Abu Dhabi Ship Building since March 2014, overseeing the Combat System segment for the Arialah Project, which includes advanced weaponry and navigation systems valued at AED 420 million. Prior to this role, Tanmay was the Business Head for the Middle East at EMPHOR FZCO from November 2011 to February 2014, where responsibilities included meeting turnover and profitability targets. Tanmay also has a distinguished career in the Indian Navy, holding various leadership positions, including Commander, and managing combat systems and electrical departments on naval vessels from 1989 to 2011. Tanmay holds a PhD in Undersea Warfare from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Master’s in Finance from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.
