Abdela Umer

Abdela Umer began their work experience in 2019 as a Fulfillment Center Associate at Amazon. In this role, they mentored a team of 3-7 associates and coached them to follow procedures and policies while promoting self-sufficient behavior. Abdela also assisted in managing the timely departure of customer packages.

In 2022, Abdela joined Correlation One as a Data Analytics Fellow. Abdela was selected to participate in a 16-week fellowship where they learned about data analytics through real-world business cases. Abdela built a data pipeline using Excel and learned introductory Python with the Pandas library and Tableau visualization tool.

In the same year, Abdela also worked at Adstra as a Data Management Analyst, where they are currently employed.

Additionally, in 2022, they worked at The Rollout Crew as a Solutions Specialist. Abdela'sresponsibilities in this role ended in December of the same year.

Abdela Umer completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Jimma University, which they attended from 2013 to 2016. After a gap of two years, they pursued further education at the Community College of Philadelphia, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Health Care Studies. Abdela attended the community college from 2018 to 2022. In 2023, Abdela enrolled at the Flatiron School to study Full stack web-development with a concentration in web development.
