Matthew Winter

Matthew Winter is a seasoned executive and board member with extensive experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. Currently serving on the boards of The Hartford, ADT, and H&R Block, Winter's career spans significant leadership roles, including President and CEO of Allstate Financial, where oversight included the Life and Retirement business. Additionally, Winter held multiple senior positions at Allstate, culminating in the role of President of Allstate Personal Lines, where leadership extended to Allstate’s Auto, Home, and Agency services. Previous experience includes high-level roles at AIG, MassMutual Financial Group, and Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company. Matthew Winter holds an LL.M from the University of Virginia School of Law, a JD from Albany Law School, and a BS in Natural Resource Management from the University of Michigan.
